I had a chance to join the The San Diego Tiny House Enthusiasts this past weekend to view a tiny house being built in San Diego by Eddy Hajas. It was the first time I had seen a tiny house in person, and I have to say, I was pretty damn excited! After researching and viewing images online for months, I was finally going to step foot inside an actual tiny house!
Eddy and the guys running The San Diego Tiny House Enthusiasts Meetup Group were all really cool and informative. Eddy was kind enough to open up his house to host 50 tiny house enthusiasts, as well as give a couple of presentations on what it took for him to get his tiny house build this far. It’s always nice to hear actual stories of people who do their own tiny house build, and hearing Eddy talk about his experience was truly informative and enlightening. He was patient with everyone’s questions, and extremely knowledgeable about most everything. Eddy gave a nice overview outside his tiny house, and then took us inside in two separate waves, allowing each of us a chance to view and ask questions about his tiny house project.
I’m really glad I took the chance to see The Eddy Hajas Tiny House Experience! It gave me a really good, first impression of what lies ahead, and now I’m even more excited than ever!
